Army Unit in Syria
Favorite Snacks/Requested Items: The popular items are little pocket meals and small cans, microwave-ables, simple ready-made canned food and beef jerky, chips (like Great Value/Walmart brand chili chips, Cheetos and other flavored chips, pretzels, popcorn, corn nuts and peanuts, sweet stuff like MnMs, licorice, Oreos - anything that'll hold over a soldier who missed a meal at the mess hall, really anything like that is a big hit.
Nowadays, most of the troops are living in tents, for the most part, with no kitchen facilities, but there's usually a microwave oven somewhere nearby.
I mentioned that we don't need instant oatmeal packets or tuna, as they are in supply at the mess halls. Same with books and novels, playing cards, tea, coffee (other than Kuerig cups) - today's generation downloads everything onto their phone, what can I tell you.
US AIR FORCE
Currently deployed with a team of 16 people, would like to request a package for each of our team member. For quite a few of our team members this is their first deployment and receiving a care package would mean the world to them. It would provide a much needed morale boost and support. Thank you for much for your time and dedication to serving our military members. 5/23
Poland - Army
We have soldiers and chaplains asking for care packages at remote locations in Poland and elsewhere.
As I may have mentioned, the popular items are little pocket meals and small cans, microwave-ables, simple ready-made canned food and beef jerky, chips, pretzels, popcorn, corn nuts and peanuts, sweet stuff like MnMs - anything that'll hold over a soldier who missed a meal at the mess hall, really anything like that is a big hit. They're living in tents, for the most part, with no kitchen facilities or running water, but there's usually a microwave oven somewhere nearby.
Romania Red Cross - Army
We still have something like 5000 troops in Romania. As always, your care packages are a huge hit, all over. Here on this base we only have a small PX with some of the necessities, but with 5000 troops - including the Italian air force, as well as French and Romanians - nothing lasts long on the shelves.
